Adding a Membership Card to a Mobile Device
There are a couple ways a customer can get their membership card onto their mobile device. You'll still need to generate a card number when purchasing a new membership for this to work. Keep in mind that we don't support this feature natively. These are tips and tricks you can use with a third party app to make this work.
Once you have a card number you can enter it into a standard Key Tag app such as the ones used to store retail store loyalty cards. When opening the app, there will be an option to add a new card in which case it will ask you to either scan a barcode with your phone's camera or enter the barcode number manually which will just be the membership card number. If the app asks for a barcode type, choose 'Code 128'. Apps that I've found that work are Key Ring and Stocard for Android or Key Ring for iPhone. Any barcode generating app will work since it's just replicating what you print out on RecPro.
You can also use a QR Code Generator. These are the square barcodes you usually see on posters or retail products. To create the QR code you simply just have to type in the membership card number as the code description when creating it with the app. These will scan in just like any normal bar code. Typing in 'QR Code Generator' in either the Play Store or App Store will have many results all of which should work
