How to Configure the Web Module SMTP Account

If you have purchased the RecPro web module you will be required to enter a SMTP account which will handle online receipts and account password resets.  

1. Go to your site admin login which is found at https://<<YOURDOMAIN>>/SiteAdmin/Login.aspx

2. Log in.

NOTE:  Your login must have elevated superadmin privileges to be able to enter SMTP credentials.  If you do not have this permission contact RecPro Support for entry.

3.  Go to 'SETTINGS' -> 'WEBSITE OPTIONS'.

4. Enter your SMTP credentials in the fields seen here.



5.  Press SAVE.




NOTE:  You can test this setup by sending a password reset for a known online account.  You can do this by going to https://<<YOURDOMAIN>>/Login.aspx?mode=reset.  A successful email relay will result in the following message. "An e-mail was sent with instructions for resetting your password" 


An unsuccessful relay will result in no message at all.  You can troubleshoot this by viewing the site admin error log under 'TOOLS'.
